Want to set yourself up to get the most out of your day? Join us for one of our early morning sessions.

Working out on the river at this time of day has many health benefits for both body and mind.

Wake up to the singing birds, inhale the clean fresh morning air and see the mist rise off the river. With your senses positively stimulated, get active on the water. You determine the level of intensity you want to take these sessions to, using you legs, arms, back and most importantly your core.  

There is no better way to start your day than with an early morning outdoor workout!

Side effects of an early morning outdoor workout have been known to include: Feelings of invigoration, Increased productivity, Reduced stress, Improved mood as well as A boost in self-esteem

5am Club

(5:30am On the water)

On the water at the crack of dawn for a one hour session. This should leave you enough time to comfortably make it into the city for your day ahead.

Take advantage of the longer days, these sessions will run Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 7th May until the end of 4th August 2024.

Dawn Patrol | 7am

5:30am too early, or you live and work close to Richmond, we’ve got you covered!

The river is still very quiet at this time of morning the lighting still great, this is still a stunning time of day to be out on the river.

These sessions run Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Early morning Ride The Tide

A great session for the experienced paddle boarder.

We set off from Richmond towards Teddington Lock on the incoming tide and return on the out going tide.

Assisted by the tidal flow, you’ll move quicker and cover a longer distance.

The tide follows the lunar cycle, hence the time of this session and the level of the flow is different every day.

Sessions are subject to conditions on the river being suitable.

1 Hour Sessions £37.50 per person (£30 for LSUPCo Members)

2.5 Hour Sessions £59 per person (£48 for LSUPCo Members)

Meeting Point: Riverside, Richmond (The bottom of Water Lane, opposite The White Cross Pub)

Pre Requisites

  • Minimum Age 18, this session is Adults only, for under 18s please contact us to book a family session.

  • Previous SUP Experience.

  • You must be able to swim 50 meters clothed (If you can't but would still like to SUP, get in touch and we can discuss our SUP options for non swimmers).

  • If pregnant - your doctors prior consent to participate.
